These ceramic tea pots were thrown on the wheel using stoneware clay. The spouts, lids, and handles were also thrown and then attached after the base was trimmed. They are glazed in a rich vibrant indigo as well as a soft black matte. After the final firing the bamboo handles were secured to the small lug handles. The opening is wide enough to fit a ceramic tea ball strainer for loose teas. Each teapot comes with two matching cups.
